According to President Nana Akufo-Addo, all tertiary institutions will resume in January 2021 next year.
This is to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus when we have so many students on campus.
He also stated in his address to the nation on the 18th of October, that the protocols for preventing COVID-19 will be maintained to make sure students are safe in school.
The president had reopened schools and universities to allow the final-year students who are in junior high, senior high, and the university to commence classes in pursuit for them to write their final examinations. The president did this to ensure the students complete their final examinations whiles they stick to restrictive protocols in helping to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We are all hoping for students to return to school in January provided they observe all protocols to ensure there is no spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
