Ghana has since recorded and registered 43,717 coronavirus cases as of Sunday, with 270 deaths, 91 new cases and 41,843 recoveries according to the Ghana Health services as of 25th August, 2020 around 7:30 pm according to the Ghana Health Service.
Schools were closed in Ghana from March 15 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The President of Ghana, last Sunday in his address to the nation stated that, school for the tertiary institutions will reopen on 24th August for students to complete their academic year.
As such, the government is diligently working to make sure students are safe from the COVID-19 Pandemic when they go back to school.
Students will not be allowed to engage in other social activities such as sporting activities, religious activities and the likes.
The president said there will be no mass gatherings, sporting activities or religious activities on campus
